Full Renovation and Rear Extension Creating a Modern Split-Level Home

An old, tired single-storey brick home was given a complete renovation and rear extension that more than doubled the floor area, creating a modern floor plan and a beautiful new split-level home.

The rear of the home was demolished and opened up to build a new bedroom, main bathroom, laundry, kitchen, lounge room and alfresco area.

Spotted gum hardwood flooring was used throughout the home, along with wainscoting feature panelling in the lounge and living areas, and shaker-style cabinetry in the kitchen and laundry. A high raked ceiling was incorporated into the design, with timber V-joint lining boards added to both the living and alfresco areas.
