Hamptons-Inspired Tiered Gardens with Travertine Features

An extensive and detailed landscape project at a beautiful Hamptons-inspired extension and renovation. We worked closely with a landscape designer to ensure the landscaping tied seamlessly into the home and stayed true to the Hamptons theme and style.

The rear yard was transformed into three separate tiered levels, all bordered by travertine retaining walls, steps and edging. Extensive use of French-pattern travertine pathways and seating areas ties in perfectly with the low retaining walls and the steps between each tiered section.

The front yard features a beautiful travertine pathway leading to the entry of the home, lined on either side with layered hedging and garden lighting. Stone-clad retaining walls down both sides of the driveway add texture, complemented by extensive star jasmine planting to screen the metal fencing.

Extensive use of Havit garden lighting enhances the gardens at night, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere.

To top it off, we custom-built a pond and fountain water feature, using granite pavers to clad the exterior of the pond and laser-cut, custom-made travertine capping around the edges. Pond lighting, along with a pump and filtration system, creates a healthy environment for fish. The cascading water from the fountain adds a relaxing and welcoming feel to this gorgeous backyard.
