Deck & Carport Rebuild, Re-Roofing, Recladding & Main Bathroom Upgrade

This project involved a full external upgrade and bathroom renovation to modernise and improve an ageing Northern Beaches home.

The existing timber deck was rundown and unsafe to walk on, and required a major rebuild. The new structure also formed a carport/garage underneath. The deck was rebuilt using Spotted Gum decking boards, stainless steel and glass handrails, and galvanised steel stairs.

The existing roof leaked and required significant repair. It also had well below the minimum fall. We removed the old roof sheets, raised the entire roof structure to achieve proper falls, and reclad the perimeter parapet and window infill panels with James Hardie Matrix sheets to give the home a clean, modern and contemporary look.

The main bathroom and separate toilet were combined into one larger bathroom. Alterations were made to internal and external walls to accommodate new windows, and the bathroom was fully renovated, creating a spacious modern contemporary layout and finish.
